Boy & Girls Clubs of King County to host forum May 19

May 14, 2012 by carrieshaw

An invitation from Shawna Boggie, Director of YouthForce ~ to be part of the solution to young adult unemployment

YouthForce is the educational employment program at Boys & Girls Clubs of King County dedicated to empowering young people to become engaged in the workplace and to develop into positively contributing members of the community.  We know how difficult it is for young people to find meaningful career information, and it can be even harder to find jobs.

This has a real impact on teens today and often has lifetime impacts on their earning as well as on our entire community.  YouthForce is excited to participate in the Community Forums Network’s effort to find a solution for how Washington state can address youth unemployment and ultimately connect more teens to meaningful work experience that can the open doors to achieving their personal and professional goals.

Join the conversation with young people this Saturday, May 19th at 10:30 a.m. at the B&GCofKC teen center. Click here for more information and to RSVP
